Where have we performed?

Conferences - we’ve performed at a wide variety of Christian conferences across the country including Familylife arena conferences and cruises, Revive Our Hearts,  Juli Slatterly’s Authentic Intimacy, Care Net, The Cove, Laity Lodge (Retreats and Family Camp),  Moody National Pastors Conference,  Youth Specialties, Youth for Christ Staff,  Pregnancy Resource Center Fundraisers,  Missionary Alliance Men’s Conference, Women’s events and marriage events at Sandy Cove Conference Center, Forrest Springs Conference Center, Focus on the Family Pastors and Wives Conference,  Pine Cove and more..

 Churches - Story crosses denominational lines and we’ve presented theatre in many churches; from worship services, marriage events, womens events to Christmas shows, denomination conventions and mens conferences. Some of these include: Regional or National conferences for: Evangelical Free Church, Anglican Church of North America, Tennessee Baptist Convention, Kentucky United Methodist Annual Conference, Regional Conference Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Episcopal Diocese of Western North Carolina, American Baptist Historical Society, Sisters of Divine Providence International Conference and more...,

Colleges - over 60 colleges and universities including: Wheaton College, Harvard University, Gordon College, Messiah College, Azusa Pacific University, Westmont, Indiana Wesleyan University, King University, Harvard University, Ohio Wesleyan University, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and many more. Acts of Renewal is included in the roster of distinguished Staley Lecturers.

Where do we speak?

We have a passion for helping marriages so we speak at a lot of marriage conferences, lead church marriage events, retreats and date nights.  Carol loves to encourage women and so speaks and performs at women’s events across the country. We love college students, and addressing issues of brokenness, healing and spiritual formation, hense we’ve been at a lot of colleges.

Where do we teach?

 In addition to Acts of Renewal, Dr. Jim is Chair of the Communications Department and the Theatre Dept. at Asbury University. Carol has her MFA in Acting and  BA in Biblical Studies and teaches theatre and directs shows helping develop the gifts of the next generation of believer artists.
