Based on events in Genesis 39-40.
It’s been 2 years since the cupbearer assured Joseph that he would remember him to Pharoah and get him out of there. It has been 9 years that Joseph has been in jail for something he didn’t do. Joseph, now in charge of the prisoners, tries to get a fellow prisoner to understand who his God, Jehovah, is and wrestles with the questions himself of how to have faith when it seems like God has been silent too long.
